Each event may have its own specific classes, but general guidelines are outlined below to help you choose the class that's right for you and your particular race:

SUP 12'6 & Under – includes all board shapes and sizes up to 12’ 6” in length (SHORT races only)

SUP 14 – standard 14' stock length boards 
(SHORT & LONG races)

OPEN Under 17 – sit-down crafts including kayaks less than 17’ in length (SHORT races only)

OPEN 17 & Over – sit-down crafts including kayaks, surf skis, outrigger canoes, sea kayaks 17’ or longer in length (LONG races only)
